Wanda L. Jackson, 57, of Peoria, passed away at 5:41 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014, at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Wanda was born on August 9, 1957 in Peoria, a daughter of Jazz B. and Mattie (Dunlap) Jackson. She is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother of Peoria; three daughters, Taquilla Jackson, Unisha Jackson and Rasheedan Jackson, all of Peoria; five sisters, Faye McCoy of Chicago, Phyllis (Rodney) Farlow, Pamela Jackson, Cheryl Jackson and Joyce Jackson, all of Peoria; three brothers, Jazz Jackson, Jr., Cyrus Jackson and Gary Davis, all of Peoria; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Wanda last worked at Perkins Restaurant in Galesburg.
