Von Fitzpatrick

Von Erwin Fitzpatrick 54, of Peoria passed away on February 8, 2022. He was born on July 21, 1967 in Peoria to Allen Fitzpatrick Sr. and Hazel Dotson.

Von worked as a laborer for many years. He enjoyed traveling and being surrounded by new and beautiful scenery. Von was the life of the party and loved to show off his dancing skills.

He is survived by his Mother Hazel Dotson of Peoria; Son Malcomb Fitzpatrick of Peoria; Daughter Destiney (Jarvis Smith) Fitzpatrick of Columbus, GA; Brothers Allen Fitzpatrick Jr, Allen Moore, Allen Fitzpatrick III, Sharief Campbell all of Peoria; Sisters Evergreen Dotson, Eulonda Fitzpatrick, Ayissha Fitzpatrick all of Peoria, Michelle (David) Fowler of Matteson, IL Special Friend-Crystal Compton and a host of neices and nephews.

Von was preceded in death by his father Allen Fitzpatrick Sr, maternal grandparents Robert and Evergreen Dotson, paternal grandparents Ezekiel and Susie Mae Davis, and Aunt Rosetta Dotson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday February 19, at Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home (428 W. McClure Ave) in Peoria. Visitation will be held from 11 am-12pm.  A Memorial Service will begin at 12 pm.
