Terry Terrell Armstrong Jr., 38, of Springfield, MO, formerly of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015, in Springfield, MO. He was born in Peoria on August 8, 1976.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Reverend Dwayne Hopson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Terry is survived by his parents, Terry Armstrong, Margie Armstrong and Ellawean Rutherford Wilson; his sisters, Bobbie Clark of Peoria and Renita Rutherford of Virginia; brothers, Trancy Clark of Missouri, Robert Clark of Maryland and Kendrick Rutherford of Peoria; daughters, Danalyn Smith-Armstrong, Ki’Terra Armstrong, Laterria Armstrong and Latayja Armstrong; sons, Terry Terrell Armstrong III and Khalil Armstrong; grandson, Khalil "KJ" Armstrong; grandparents, Emma Armstrong of Peoria and John (Lillie Mae) Edgeston of Mississippi. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Rosie Boyce; grandfathers, Ezell Armstrong and John Clark; grandmother, Bertha Clark and his son, Terrell Joseph Armstrong.
Terry enjoyed playing pool and family cookouts.
