When Ruth was young, she lived a very active life. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining listeners on the radio, while playing guitar and singing with her beautiful voice. She and Roy loved entertaining their friends. They both loved golfing and she was a member at Timberlake Golf Club, until her health no longer permitted.

Ruth enjoyed playing cards; reading; listening to Big Band and Country music, especially Alan Jackson; collecting miniature shoes; watching the Indianapolis 500 and Chicago Cubs baseball; traveling to Biloxi; going to Gil’s Supper Club; and attending family events, especially Thanksgiving, Christmas and reunions.
She was a wonderful grandmother and always loved being with family. She was very fond of her cats - even the most unlovable cats known to man, were safe and well taken care of by her. She was patient, caring and loving.
