Ronald Livengood

Ronald Ray Livengood, 82, of Florida, formerly of Peoria, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Cornerstone Hospice House in The Villages, Florida, with his family by his side.

A Celebration of Ron's Life service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Surviving is Deborah, his wife; his beloved dog Molly; his daughters, Bethany (Charles) Lazzara and Karie (Christopher) Wheadon; step-children, David (Lisa Alexander) Cufaude, Denise Hyman and Darren (Angie) Cufaude; sister, Sharol (Jack) Lewin; step brother Jack (Jean) Sleater; and eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant son Keith.

Ron enjoyed fishing, sporting clay shooting and motorcycling.He was also a Chicago White Sox fan and loved the Star Wars movies. He graduated from Peoria Central High and attended Bradley University.He worked for Multi-Ad in Peoria, before starting his own business in Peoria, Moss Enterprises, which he ran for ten years.He also started a second business, The Vending Company, which he also ran for ten years before finally retiring in 2017.
