Roger H. Wurmnest, age 63, of Peoria, Illinois passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011 at his residence.
Roger was born on December 9, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois to Richard C. and Inez (Glass) Wurmnest. He married Elizabeth K. Yordy on October 4, 1986 in Peoria.
Roger is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his mother, Inez; two daughters, Jami Wurmnest of Peoria, Illinois and Janice (Charles) Turner of Ellijay, Georgia; three grandchildren, Cody, Ethan and Hanna and his brother, Randall Heinz. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard.
Roger worked as a Service Tech for Sears Department Store. He was a member of Arcadia Presbyterian Church and the Midwest Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, guns, computers, and photography.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A private memorial service will be determined at a later date.
