Robert Lee Scott Jr.

Robert L. Scott Jr., 53, of Peoria, Illinois passed away on May 16, 2023 at Accolade Healthcare of Peoria. He was born on October 11, 1969 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Robert L. and Geraldine (Haynes) Scott Sr.

He graduated from Manual High School Class of 1987. Robert worked for Kmart, Asbestos removal and last worked for Wyngate Hotel in Peoria, Illinois as a shuttle driver. He enjoyed being with family and friends, watching TV, good movies, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and rebuilding cars.

Robert leaves to cherish his precious memory his mother Geraldine Scott of Peoria; one sister Tanya Scott of Peoria; one brother Corrie Alexander of Peoria; three children Demarcus Gregory of Peoria, Tiarra Scott of Peoria, Tatyana Scott of New York; nine grandchildren; aunts; uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and father Robert L. Scott Sr.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at Morning Glory Church from 10am to 11am. Funeral Service will begin at 11am. Pastor Marlon Young will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois.
