Robert Haggard, Sr.

Robert Lee Haggard, Sr., 56, of Peoria, passed away at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2011, in Peoria.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded and interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.
Robert was born in Toledo, OH on October 4, 1954, a son of Charles V. and Mary (Polinski) Haggard, Sr. He married Chris J. Shannon on February 16, 1990 in Peoria. She survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Alisha (Jon) Patterson of Peoria; sons, Robert Lee Haggard, Jr. of Glasford and Eric Haggard of East Peoria; brothers, Clifford (Kathy) Haggard, Sr. of Trivoli, Dennis R. and David A. Haggard of Peoria, Jeffery A. (Ginger) Haggard of Canton and Darryl (Tammy) Estep of Cleveland, TN; sisters, Beverly (Tim) Simenski of Toledo and Debbie Wade of Farmington; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angela Haggard; brothers, Thomas, Gary and Charles Jr.; and sisters, Dorothy and Shirley Haggard and Sandra Dalton.
