Robert Breuhaus

Robert C. “Bob” Breuhaus, 75, of Lewistown, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Prairie View Care Center in Lewistown.
Bob was born on March 23, 1940 to Dr. Herbert and Helen (Griffith) Breuhaus of Oak Park. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra (Bryan) Collett of Deer Creek; two grandsons, Andrew of Chicago and Nicholas of Deer Creek; his three siblings and their families.
Bob graduated with a degree in Accounting from Bradley University and eventually set up his own accounting practice in Peoria in 1977. The 2013 tax season was his last year in business. He was involved in AMBUCS in the 1970-80s, as well as Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC). At different points in life, he was a member of University United Methodist, Grace Presbyterian and Dayton Avenue Baptist churches.
There will be no public visitation or services. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
In honor of instilling in his daughter a great love of the outdoors and camping, memorial contributions may be made in his name to
Little Galilee Christian Camp
in Clinton or, in gratitude for their excellent care of Bob, to the
Prairie View Care Center
Activity Fund.
