Patricia Ann Seymour

Patricia (Mangold) Seymour, 86, of Edwards, Illinois passed away on Thursday April 20, 2023 at Liberty Village Manor Court of Peoria, Illinois. She was born on January 5, 1937 in Alta, Illinois. The daughter of Benjamin and Jennie (Kruse) Mangold. Patricia married Donald Seymour on August 15, 1965 in Peoria, Illinois.

She graduated from Dunlap High School Class of 1955. Patricia furthered education at Illinois State University Class of 1959 where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Education. She worked for Peoria School District 150 for thirty plus years. Patricia taught Junior High Science.  She loved working on her farm and especially caring for her pigs and cows.  

Patricia is survived by her son Darren (Sarah) Seymour of Edwards, Illinois; grandchildren Grace, Henry and Anne.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home in Peoria, Illinois. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Reverend Doctor Joseph Cunningham will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, Illinois.
