Patricia A. Capperrune, 78, of Peoria, passed away on January 4, 2016 at Grand View Alzheimer's Care Center in Peoria, IL.
She was born on February 11, 1937 in Peoria to Floyd and Loretta Boyle. She married Thomas Capperrune on June 19, 1955.
Patricia is survived by her husband; Thomas Capperrune, her sons Daniel (Debra) of Groveland, IL, and David (Tracy) of Peoria Heights; daughter, Deborah McEnroe of Lihue, HI; brother, Gerald Boyle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; five grandchildren, Colt, Heather, Lindsey, Molly and Abby; and 3 great-grandchildren, Stone, Adrian and Ruby.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Loretta Boyle.
Patricia rejoiced her Lord and Savior through her passion of singing. She was the choir director at the Northwest United Methodist Church for almost 20 years. Patricia was also a member of the Joyful Sounds' singing group and you could occasionally hear her singing at weddings.
Visitation will be held at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home on Thursday January 7, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Graveside service and burial will be at Parkview Cemetery following the visitation.
Memorials in honor of Patricia may be made to Northwest United Methodist Church.
