Mildred E. Foulks, 103, of Peoria Heights, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Cornerstone Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Peoria Heights.
She was born to Edward H. and Anna (Naber) Moeller on March 31, 1912 in St. Peter. She married Charles O. Foulks, Jr. on April 13, 1937 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1981.
Mildred was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, three brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren, Charles Foulks IV and Susan Barker.
She is survived by two children, Charles (Kay) Foulks III of Woodstock, GA, and Kathryn (Paul) Barker of Dunlap, IL; four grandchildren, David (Debbi) Barker of Chillicothe, IL, Dan Barker of Wyoming, IL, Cheryl Sturgis of Woodstock, GA, and Cindy (Joe) Bouchez of Dawsonville, GA; nine great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and two soon to be born great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mildred attended a German school through eighth grade. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking, and was a member at Mount Olive Missionary Church in Peoria.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cornerstone Rehabilitation and Nursing Home and especially Mom's CNA, Grace Loveless, for the excellent care the past 12 years .
A funeral service for Mildred will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Mt. Olive Missionary Church at 11:30 AM. Pastor Mark Douras will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time at the church. Burial will be held at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
