Mary Wolff, 94, of Peoria, passed away at 2:26 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Heartland of Peoria.
Graveside services and interment will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2011, at Workman Circle Cemetery in Elmwood Park, NJ.
Mary was born on January 2, 1917 in Rawa, Poland. She married Benjamin Wolff on March 30, 1940 in New York, NY. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1982 in Kearny, NJ. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Norman) Schwabacher of Peoria; son, Theodore (Mary Jane) Wolff of Baltimore, MD; sister, Tessie Kirshbaum of Delray Beach, FL; grandchildren, David (Denise) Schwabacher of Springfield, Michael (Aleta) Schwabacher of Chicago, Karen (Jonathan) Seaman of Baltimore, Leslie Wolff DVM of Columbia, MD, and Debra (Mark) Blitz of Madison, WI; and eight great grandchildren.
Mary was a bookkeeper in New Jersey, for both the FDA and U.S. Army Recruiting.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Congregation Agudas Achim in Peoria.
Local arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria.
