Margueritte Goodman

Margueritte J. Goodman, 94, of Peoria, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011, at Pekin Manor at Liberty Village in Pekin.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Pastor Bob Donaldson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
Margueritte was born on May 29, 1917 in Eden, a daughter of Warren and Ina (Wrigley) Goodman. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Carrie Goodman and Mirriam Crandall; and nephew, John Crandall.
She is survived by her friend, Marihelen Clifton, with whom she made her home; niece, Carol Jean Crandall and great nephew, John Connor Crandall, both of El Paso, TX.
Margueritte was a longtime member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria and formerly taught in their Sunday School. She retired as a bookkeeper for Dietrich Furniture Store in Morton.
