Marcus A. Randitsas, 20, of East Peoria passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Marcus was born to Bill Randitsas and Julia Millikin on February 21, 1995 in Peoria.
He is survived by his parents; his step-mother, Cristy Hasty; two brothers, Andrew Randitsas of East Peoria and Jonathan Randitsas of Mackinaw; one sister, Sarah Randitsas of East Peoria; one step-brother, Christopher Dudgeon of Mackinaw; his godmother, Voula (Bill) Tsampis of Indiana; three aunts, Maria (John) Ackerman of Washington, Patricia Randitsas of Pekin, and Amanda (Jeff) Marx of Pekin; two uncles, George Randitsas of Peoria, and Michael Randitsas of Bloomington; two grandmothers, Paula Millikin of East Peoria, and Dimitra Randitsas of Peoria; seven cousins, Zachary and Jordan Millikin, Nicholas and Christopher Montgomery and Alexis Randitsas, all of Pekin, and Christian and Dimitri Ackerman of Washington; and two second cousins, Giorgia and Lambreni Tsampis of Indiana.
Marcus was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Paul Arnett and George and Paraskevi Randitsas; and his grandfather, Dimitrios Randitsas.
Marcus graduated from East Peoria High School and was attending classes at Illinois Central College. He was an exceptional cook, a wonderful son, and a fun person to be around. He made friends everywhere he went and was able to make everyone laugh. Marcus' favorite saying was "spread the love".
A funeral mass for Marcus will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Peoria. The Rev. Dr. Ciprian Sas will officiate. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
Memorials in honor of Marcus may be made to TAPS or All Saints Greek Orthodox Church.
