Marcia Kay Ellis, 58, of Peoria passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
Marcia was born to Cleo Earl and Mary Alice (Hamilton) Duckwiler in Canton on December 25, 1956. She married Robert James Ellis on June 5, 1993 in East Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving Marcia are her four sons, Andrew Ellis of Springfield, MO, Christopher Emmons of Peoria, Jason Ellis of Kansas City, MO, and Jacob Ellis of Jefferson City, MO; three sisters, Melinda (Andy) Bush of Grayslake, Mona (Rick) Duckwiler of Peoria, and Dena (Jim) Binegar of East Peoria; and one brother, Carl Duckwiler of Sunnyland.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one brother, Gary Duckwiler.
Marcia was very active in her church, Peoria First Assembly of God. She worked at Ep!c for six years, formerly known as PARC.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00am at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Pastor Dean Grabill will officiate.
Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
