Lovonia Grant

Lovonia Grant, 91, of Peoria, transitioned from Earth to Glory at 2:25 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 W. Lake Ave. in Peoria. There will be a graveside service immediately following the visitation at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
Lovonia was born on May 9, 1925, in York, AL, a daughter of James Frank and Mamie (McNeal) Grant. They preceded her in death, along with her son, Charles Grant and her siblings, George Grant, Ora Grant, Mary Lee Grant, Jimmie Mae Bradley, Virginia Moss, Moses Grant, Odell Grant and Ella Grant.
Now absent from the body and present with the Lord, she leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Dorothy (Larry) Criss, Charlene (Alphonso) Lyons, Darlene Hicks, Barbara (Edward) Catchings, Bernice Moore, Royce Moore and Lonnie Moore, all of Peoria and Bill (Christina) Grant of Mesa, AZ; siblings, Annie Bell Grant of Peoria and Isaac Grant of Cleveland, OH; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great gra
