Linda F. Johnson, 67, of Peoria, passed away at 5:51 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Methodist Medical Center. She went home to be with the Lord.
She was born on July 28, 1949 in Birmingham, AL to the late Jimmy Miles and Annie Lee McDuffie. Linda married her soul mate, Tom Johnson, Sr. on October 5, 1970 in Birmingham, AL. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2014, in Peoria.
Linda loved to dress and read, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time and laughing with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Tom Johnson, Jr., Yolanda, Zabrina, Annie, and Tiffany Johnson, all of Peoria; seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline A. Nalls of Peoria; a special son, Garvin Wilson; and a special friend, Linda B. Warfield.
Linda was a member of Grace Apostolic Assembly, where Bishop James Ware is the pastor. She was a foster grandma with the PCCEO Program and was known as Grandma Linda to many.
There will be no public visitation or service.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
