Kenneth "Ken" William Schoolman

Kenneth William Schoolman, 64, of West Peoria, Illinois passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2023 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He was born on October 11, 1959 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Albert and Dorothy (McBride) Schoolman. Kenneth married Cheryl Fulks on March 10, 1979 in Peoria, Illinois.

He worked for ATS, Keystone and Norwood School District. Ken loved supporting and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church of Peoria and also attended the New Beginnings Worship Center. Ken was also a proud member of the amputee support group “Limbs Up”.

Ken is survived by his wife Cheryl Schoolman of West Peoria, Illinois; son Kurt Schoolman of Peoria Heights, Illinois; brother Dave Schoolman of West Peoria, Illinois and one granddaughter Zephyr.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at the New Apostolic Church (5341 Sheridan Road Peoria, Illinois) starting at 11:00am. Elder Quinton Brown and Priest Lambert Tusamba will officiate the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois.
