Kathy Jones

Kathy A. Jones, 54, of Champaign, formerly of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Carle Hospital in Urbana. She was born on March 1, 1966 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Jack and Rhea (Tate) Jones.

Kathy worked at PARC in Peoria and competed with the Special Olympics.

She is survived by three brothers, Danny Jones of Pekin, Brian Jones of San Antonio, TX, Gregg Jones of Paducah, KY; one sister, Kimberly Dross of San Antonio, TX; two nieces, Samantha Dross of Staten Island, NY and Emily Fehl of Louisville, KY; and one nephew, Brandon Dross.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
