Kathleen Shore

Kathleen M. “Katie” Shore, 88, of Peoria, passed away at 8:44 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Mt. Hawley Cemetery, in Peoria, following the service.
Katie was born on November 25, 1928, in Jacksonville, a daughter of Roy and Hazel (Jacoby) Senters. She married Louis W. Shore on February 13, 1949 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2011 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott Shore; sister, Barbara Roberts; and brother, Reggie Senters.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Dick) Araujo of Congerville, Renae (Robert) Clough of Peoria, Marsha (Roy) Clark of Norwood and Kim (Chris) Thomas of Brimfield; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Katie was a librarian for the Peoria Public Library for 15 years.
Memorial contributions may be made in Katie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association – Central Illinois Chapter.
