Karen Kay Bowling, age 60, of East Peoria, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in Arizona.
She was born on January 9, 1953 in Peoria, Illinois to Clarence Earl and Hilma Maxine (Wright) Guppy.
Karen is survived by two daughters, Tabitha Michelle (Joe) Sweeney and Tiffany Landon (James) Broms both of Surprise, Arizona; her son, Timothy Earl (Jennifer) Bowling, Sr. of Washington, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; her sister, Diane McIntyre of East Peoria and her twin sister, Sharon (Terry) VanScyoc of Washington, Illinois; four nephews and three nieces; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clarence Earl Guppy, Jr.; and one great-niece, Amanda.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 7pm at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home in Peoria. Pastor Paul Park will be officiating. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to the family.
