Judy Fay Hall Kraus, 56, of East Peoria, passed away at 8:34 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at St. Ann Parish in Peoria, with Fr. Terry Cassidy celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at St. Ann Parish, two hours prior to the Mass. Entombment will be at Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Peoria.
Judy was born on June 19, 1957 in Peoria, a daughter of Willie C. and Glennis C. (Isbell) Hall. They preceded her in death, along with a brother, Billy Wayne Hall. She married Frederick John Kraus on May 20, 2000 in Groveland. He survives.
She is also survived by her children, Kellie (Mark) J. Hanley of Peoria, Joseph Brewer of East Peoria, Renee Kraus of East Peoria and Lisa (Justin) Granter of Canton; grandsons, Quentin, Gabriel and Keegan Hanley; brothers, Donnie Hall of Morton and Kenny Hall of Peoria; and sister, Cindy Adreon of Broken Arrow, OK.
She was involved in the daily operations of Eysal’s Coffee Roasters in East Peoria, with her husband, Fred. She was formerly employed as a Machine Technician for Hagemeyer in East Peoria and, for twenty years, in the production service department at Bemis Bag in Peoria.
Judy was a parishioner of St. Ann Parish in Peoria. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and collecting Jean Fehl ornaments. She was an early riser, always enjoying her coffee, and dearly loved her grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Judy Kraus Benefit at CEFCU.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
