John Simmons Jr.

John W. Simmons Jr. 56 of Peoria, IL passed away on November 4, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on October 1, 1964 in Sharon, CT the son of John W. and Carol (Osnoe) Simmons Sr. He married Thi Nguyen on June 7, 1999. She survives.

John worked as a chef for many years in  Peoria.

In addition to his wife, John has two children: Daniel and Matoka Simmons of Illinois.

He is survived by three sisters: Donna Mattino, Debra Mctier of Dublin, GA, Roberta (Jim) Fitzpatrick of Amenia, NY; two brothers: Douglas Simmons of CT and Patrick Simmons of Poughkeepsie, NY.

John was preceded in death by his parents.
