John Cunningham

John David Cunningham, 64, of Peoria, passed away at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria.
He was born on June 19, 1953 in Peoria, a son of Charles Austin and Mary Katherine (Bugg) Cunningham. He married Pamela Hillenburg on May 8, 1976 in Peoria. She survives.
John is also survived by his daughters, Colleen (Joshua) Bond of Chillicothe and Amanda Cunningham of Peoria; sister, Sandra (Carlson) Hulett of Peoria; and grandchildren, Dylan, Nathan and Alexander Bond, all of Chillicothe.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Michael and Charles Cunningham.
John work at Caterpillar for 30 years. He retired in 2009 and started working as a security guard for Allied Universal. He worked there for six years. During the fall, he also worked at Tanner’s Orchard.
He was a member of UAW Local 974.
There will be no public service or visitation
Memorial contributions may be made in John’s memory to American Lung Association.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria.
