Jariyah Herrod

Jariyah Herrod, daughter of Maurio L. Herrod, Sr. and Jasmyn N. Maxwell of Peoria, was born a quiet birth at 11:49 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Graveside services and interment will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria, with Elder Martin Johnson, of New Beginnings Ministries of Peoria, officiating.
She is survived by her parents; sister, Jayda Scott, of Peoria; maternal grandparents, Tamara and Clarence Hutt of Peoria; paternal grandparents, Verna and Walter Herrod, Sr. of Peoria; uncles, Tyrone Maxwell, Jerrod Hobbs and Walter (Adrienne) Herrod, Jr., all of Peoria; aunt, Reneece (Marcus) Washington of Peoria; maternal great grandmothers, Bette Maxwell of Louisiana, MO and Audrey Hutt of Peoria; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Herrod of Peoria; and a host of extended family. Jariyah was preceded in death by her brother, Maurio L. Herrod, Jr., and sister, Journey Nichole Herrod.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
