James "Jim" Little, 74, passed away at his home in Peoria on Sunday, January 25, 2015.
Jim was born to James A. and Eva G. (Greenleaf) Little on August 24, 1940 in Camden. He married Mary "Sue" Little on April 7, 1976 in Peoria. She survives.
Surviving Jim is his nephew, Michael Clemons, whom he and Sue raised, of West Peoria; one son, James (Vickie) Little of South Carolina; two daughters, Kim Mcgurder of Quincy, and Loree Coats of Branson, MO; two grandsons whom he and Sue also raised, Anthony "Tony" Little and James B. Little, both of Peoria; eight other grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Judy (Charles) Dupoy of Ripley; two brothers, John (Cookie) Little of Mt. Sterling, and Jay (Teresa) Little of Frederick; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Sarah.
Jim worked in the transportation industry for 45 years, last working as a pharmacy driver for Kroger. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.
A visitation for Jim will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, 428 West McClure Avenue in Peoria, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial donations in honor of Jim may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
