James Dhaese

James Cyril Dhaese, 66, of Peoria, passed away at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Chaplain Dwight Winnett officiating.
James was born on December 13, 1948 in Peoria, a son of Arthur James Dhaese, Sr. and Patricia M. Alwan. They preceded him in death, along with a brother, Stanley Dhaese. He married Brenda Mae Conley on September 27, 2008 at Glen Oak Park in Peoria. She survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Krista Smith of Pittsburg, KS; son, Joshua Dhaese of Peoria; stepdaughters, Teresa Walker of Peoria and Toni Adkisson of Metamora; stepson, Shawn (Valerie) Ward of Peoria; brothers, Vernon Dhaese of Delavan, Ernest “Bud” (Dea) Dhaese and Arthur Dhaese, Jr., all of Washington; sisters, Mourina (Harry) Sweet and Laureen Johnson, all of Peoria; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
James was last employed at Lowe’s Home Improvement in Melbourne, FL. In Peoria, he was formerly employed at Dawson’s on Pioneer Park and for the TP & W Railroad. He was formerly a parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Peoria Heights.
