Helen Idella McKinley, 95, of Peoria, passed away Monday June 24, 2013 at Farmington Country Manor.
Funeral services for Helen will be held at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, on Friday June 28, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Reverend Dr. Randall Saxon will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Decatur, Il, on September 27, 1917 to Robert and Mary (Lill) Kuykendall. She married Edward McKinley on March 12, 1937 in Pekin, Il.
Helen is survived by two children; Kathleen (Stephen) Nordvall of Peoria, and Eddy (Sandi) McKinley of Peoria, two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, and one brother.
Helen was a member of United Presbyterian Church, formerly Arcadia Presbyterian Church, for over 50 years. She was also a member of the 18 Hole Womens Golf League and the Engineer Wives Golf League. Helen was an avid golfer, she enjoyed traveling and playing golf with her husband. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, and reading.
