Helen Graham

Helen Louise Carter Graham, age 95, of Peoria, passed away on December 6, 2021, at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Waterloo, IL. Helen was born on January 19, 1926, in Peoria, to Raymond and Dorothy Blake Carter. She married Warren Glen Graham on November 27, 1949, in Peoria.

Helen is survived by her son, Frank Graham and daughter-in-law, Mary Storer Graham, of Littleton, CO; a sister-in-law, Helen Carter of Versailles, MO; a son-in-law, David Eatock of Decatur, IL; two grandchildren, David (Sara) Graham of Thornton, CO, and Amy (Adam) Graham Maher of Lakewood, CO; and three great grandchildren, Maxwell (Max) Graham of Thornton, CO and Hudson (Huck) and Elliot (Ellie) Maher of Lakewood, CO.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Nancy Graham Eatock; a brother, Blake Carter; two brothers-in-law, Vernal Graham and Joseph Graham; and two sisters-in-law, Corrine (Corky) Graham and Barbara Graham.

Helen worked part time for the American Red Cross of Peoria. She and her husband, Warren, were charter members of Timberlake Club in Peoria, Helen was a member of Union Congregational Church of Peoria. She enjoyed playing golf with Warren, reading, sewing, and quilting. Helen lived her life with grace, a quiet, strong spirit, and love for her family.

A private, graveside, family service will be held on December 10. 2021, at Springdale Cemetery of Peoria. Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
