Florence "Tippy" Short

Florence “Tippy” Mary Short, 102, of Peoria, Passed away on May 10, 2022 at the Proctor Endowment Home. She was born on November 11, 1919 in Ridgeway, WI the daughter of Andrew and Johanna (Ryan) Hand. She married Walter Short in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1976.

Tippy graduated from Ridgeway High School class of 1938. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Peoria.

She is survived by one daughter Connie Schupp of Brooklyn Park, MN, grandchildren Steve Wojahn, Jeff Wojahn, Scott Schupp, Ryan Schupp, and Karen (Tom) Liedl.  Tippy also has twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Tippy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Marilyn Wojahn, one son William Short; one sister Nellie Tesch; two brothers Andrew and Lawrence Hand.
