Esther Hearn

Esther L. Hearn, 67, of Peoria, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on January 12, 1953, the daughter of the late Arnee and Rosetta (Crump) Hearn. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Rueben, Curtis and Farvis Hearn.

Esther is survived by her siblings, Velma (Oldfield) Allen of Peoria, Waymon (Linda) Hearn of St. Augustine, Fla., Emmet (Robin) Hearn of Peoria, Clenzell (Susan) Hearn of Peoria, Travis (April) Hearn of Paris, Texas, Ardean (Belinda) Hearn of Desoto, TX; and several nieces, nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Esther worked as a registered nurse for 42 years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Peoria.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave., in Peoria. There will be a private family funeral service with Reverend Simon Holly officiating. Social distancing guidelines will be observed during the visitation and masks are required. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.
