Elnora Rickmon

Elnora Rickmon, 88, of Peoria, passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Peoria, with Pastor Martin Johnson officiating. District Elder Henry L. Bolden II will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
Elnora was born on September 13, 1929 in Augusta, AR, a daughter of Willie and Lillie (Harper) Landrum. She married Willie Joe Rickmon, Sr. on December 24, 1948 in Augusta, AR. He preceded her death on June 23, 2012 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Joe Willie Rickmon, Jr., Phillip E. Rickmon, Kevin S. Rickmon, Henry Rickmon and Isaiah Rickmon; and siblings, Willie Landrum, Jr., Perry Joe Green, Theodore Landrum and Ward Landrum.
She is survived by her children, Lillie B. (Joe) Lawrence of Waukegan, Linda D. (Brian) Simons, Irish L. (William) Davidson, Dorren (Willie) Davis, Dorcas Y. (Robert) Rickmon-Booker, Angela Rickmon and Chelsea Rickmon, all of Peoria, Dorothy A. Newton of New Castle, DE, Michael Rickmon and Anthony C. Rickmon, both of Peoria; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
