E. Annie Walton, 60, of Peoria died on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria.
Annie was born on July 15, 1953 in Vardaman, MS the daughter of Flenoid D. and Nettie M. (Criddle) Clemons. She married Dale E. Walton on February 16, 1974 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2012.
Surviving are her brothers and sisters: Doyle (Norma) Clemons of Peoria, Sue (Jim) Little of Peoria, Darlene (Roger) Coy of Vincennes, IN, David (Judy) Clemons of Groveland, and Shelby (Chuck) Hatch of Peoria; and a niece, Kimmely Vories of Peoria who cared for her during her illness.
Annie graduated from Manual High School. She worked for the Paradise Hotel and Casino in East Peoria as a bartender for 21 years. She loved to travel with her husband.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, located at 428 West McClure Ave. Peoria. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5-8:00 PM and also one hour prior to the service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the services at Parkview Cemetery, Peoria. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
