Dorothy "Dot" Bridgeman

Dorothy “Dot” Irene Bridgeman, 69, of South Pekin passed away on Friday November 26, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Dot was born on February 13, 1952 in Pekin the daughter of Everett Utah and Doris Ruth (Stiebner) Hill. She married Charles William “Chuck” Bridgeman on August 07, 1971 in Pekin.

Dot was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morton where she assisted with Vacation Bible School and numerous other church activities. She will be remembered for her loving personality, a smile that would brighten your darkest day and overall caring ways. Dot will be greatly missed by all that had the honor of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years Charles William “Chuck” Bridgeman of South Pekin; two sisters Wilma (Rick) Marx of Manito, Linda Stewart of Norris, TN; eleven neices and nephews Byron, Danny, Helen, Dawn, Janelle, Michael, Rosemary, Doris, Jason, Stacy, Kenneth and several great neices and nephews.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Byron Davis; one sister Elsie Sisler and one brother-in-law Randy Stewart.

Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Morton on Friday January 7, 2022 from 9am to 10am. Memorial Service will follow at 10am. Minister Ben Towell will officiate the service. Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home of Peoria.
