Donald M. “Don” McDonnell, 62, of Morton, passed away at 5:08 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at his home.
Don was born on July 16, 1953 in Pontiac, MI, a son of Allen L. “Ott” and Louise (Chislea) McDonnell. They preceded him in death. He married Connie Brown on May 7, 1977 in Pekin. They were later divorced.
He is survived by his sons, Allen (Sara) McDonnell of Morton and Justin (Maria) McDonnell of Pearland, TX; brother, Dennis (Mary Ann) McDonnell of Washington; and grandchildren, Allie and Haeleigh.
He was the owner and operator of McDonnell Painting and loved to fish.
At Don’s request, there will be no public visitation or services.
The family would like to thank OSF Hospice, where memorial contributions may be made, for their wonderful care of Don.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
