Daniel J. Rambke, 54, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2012, at his residence.
A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Peoria, at a later date.
Daniel was born on June 24, 1958 in Peoria, a son of Diedrick W. and Agnes M. (Gramlich) Rambke. They preceded him in death, along with a brother, Richard Rambke.
He is survived by his children, Amanda (Race) Vogelsang of East Peoria and Drake and Alex Rambke of Peoria; grandson, Jax Vogelsang of East Peoria; and siblings, Dave (Chris) Rambke of Naperville, Mary (Mike) Hanelt of Hanna City, Robert Rambke of Groveland, Lisa Brown of Washington and Laura (Wes) Kanaga of Washington.
Daniel was a parishioner of St. Mark Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Jude Council 4333, both in Peoria.
He owned and operated two Blues clubs in Peoria. He loved his music and reflecting on life.
