Connie Sies

Connie S. Sies, 66, of Canton, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. Visitation will be from 10 to 12 noon, prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.

Connie was born on February 24, 1952, in Peoria, a daughter of Charles "Porky" and Dolores (Utech) Janson. They preceded her death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Steven "Bubba" Janson and one sister, Michelle Janson.

She married Harry Sies, Sr. and they had 3 children, Sarah (Charles Thrasher) Sies of Canton, Harry (Sarah) Sies, Jr. and Kevin Janson, both of Pekin. She is also survived by a grandson that she raised as her own, Brandon (April) Sies; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and siblings, Georgia "Toodles" (Terry) Woodson of Norwood, Jeanetta (Daniel Bozman) Deweese of Peoria, Cindy Pomeroy of Canton, Kimberly (Randy) Randle of Goodfield, Charles (Suzie) Janson, Jr of Canton, Rodney "Keith" (Cindy) Janson of East Peoria, Stanley (Marta) Janson of Burlington, IA, Nora (Eddie Ward) Janson of Clover, SC, Dina Janson of Mason City, Stacey Janson of Champaign, Charles "Duke" (Colette) Janson of Peoria, Jeff Janson of East Peoria, Richie Janson of Washington; and three special people, Brooke Randle, Terry Pierce and Danielle Webster, all of whom she loved dearly.
