Christopher L. Nafziger, 54 of Brimfield, formally of Naples, FL, passed away at 1:13 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on July 5, 1962, in Elmhurst, a son of Velde M. and Virginia (Kirkman) Nafziger. They preceded him in death, along with one brother, Bradley J. Nafziger.
Christopher is survived by his brothers, William (Jeanette) Wyatt of Brimfield and Jerry (Becky) Wyatt of Edwards; aunt, Donna Miller of Peoria Heights; four nephews; three nieces; and several cousins.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Elmhurst College and a Master of Science degree from Illinois State University. He last worked at Home Depot in Peoria. While he lived in Florida, he took care of his mother until she passed away and he worked at the Fort Myers Regional Library.
There will be no public service or visitation.
