Cheryl White

Cheryl Lynn White, 55, of Marquette Heights, passed away at 6:34 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria.
A Memorial Service will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Jeff Leeman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Cheryl was born on August 23, 1960 in Marion, a daughter of Carl R. and E. Charlene (Darnell) Handkins. They preceded her in death. She married Donald E. White on August 19, 1989 in Chillicothe. She was previously married to Larry Litchfield.
She is survived by her husband of Marquette Heights; children, Shaun (James) Rickey of Dunlap, Tanya (Robert Schaefer) Witte of Pekin and Scott (Ashley Mowder) Litchfield of Bartonville; sisters, Cindy (Jerry Rutherford) Scovil of Washington and Carla Ginn of Eureka; grandchildren, Nolan and Paxton Schaefer and Kaleb Litchfield; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Gracie and Lucy.
Cheryl last worked as a sales representative for Scentsy. She previously worked in the cafeteria at East Peoria High School.
As a child, she attended Center Baptist Church in Marion.
