Charlene F. Norton, 78, of Peoria, passed away at 11:39 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria.
Charlene was born on January 12, 1939, in Peoria, a daughter of Frank and Maxine (Graves) Bennett. They preceded her in death, along with one son, Donald J. Norton.
She is survived by her son Kevin Norton of Peoria.
Charlene worked for many years as a legal aid secretary. She last worked at Caterpillar as a programmer.
Her son, Kevin will fondly cherish all the wonderful times and memories he had with his mom. They had a very tight bond and she will be greatly missed.
There will be no public visitation or service.
