Carrie L. Turbyfill, age 54, of Peoria passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, Peoria. John and Vicki Schmidgall will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Resurrection Mausoleum.
Carrie was born on April 26, 1959 in Peoria the daughter of Benjamin and Violet (Krause) Turbyfill.
Carrie was a licensed practical nursing working in the Peoria area at various nursing homes.
Carrie attended Charis Life Fellowship where she attended Bible Study and she enjoyed praying. She also liked spending time with friends, watching movies, reading and she liked the performing arts.
Surviving is her daughter, Mailee Ua of Chicago, brother, Robert (Elizabeth) Turbyfill of Salt Lake City, Utah and a sister Glenda McElroy of Alabama.
