Carla Jenkins

Carla A. Jenkins, 46, of Edwards, passed away peacefully at 2:42 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brimfield, where she was a member. Reverend Michael Liese will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. There will be an additional visitation 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the funeral service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oak Hill.
Carla was born on June 18, 1971 in Peoria, the daughter of August and Violet (Bennett) Ponzel. Her mother and brother, Auggie, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her father of Peoria and her children, Emily (Dallas) Boswell, Austen, Allison and Alexis Jenkins, all of Edwards.
Carla worked as a Registered Nurse at OSF St. Francis for the past 11 years.
