Betty Ann Cooper, 87, of Peoria, passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria, with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Betty was born in Peoria on September 21, 1924, a daughter of Grover and Ann (Christianson) Barton. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Harold“G.I.” (Holly) Cooper of Peoria, Lynn (Byrel) Freeman of Peoria, Sonny Stevens of Chicago and Mark Harlan of Peoria; sister, Lorraine “Sam” Fogerson of Peoria; grandchildren, Doug and Jeff Freeman, Tammy (Richard) Smith and Zachary Stevens; and great grandchildren, Jake Cooper and Tyler and Kayli Freeman.
Betty was a beautiful lady that loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. She always lived her life to the very fullest and will be greatly missed by many.
