Audrey Perdelwitz

Audrey E. Perdelwitz, age 90, of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Grand View Alzheimer's Special Care Unit.

Audrey was born on August 28, 1922 in Peoria, Illinois to Otto and Susie Hillberg Kiesow. She married Ralph Perdelwitz in March 9, 1942. He preceded her in death.

Audrey graduated from Dunlap High School. She lived in Florida for 31 years then moved back to Peoria. She was a floral designer for 40 years and worked for American Greetings for 10 years. She has been a member of Creve Coeur Chapter of the Eastern Star since 1940 and was Worthy Matron in 1952. Audrey was also a member of Radnor Grange for 27 years. She belonged to the Ringling Chapter of the American Business Women's Association for 28 years, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Home Extension, and the W.W. Club.

Audrey is survived by three children, Dennis (Karen) Perdelwitz of Monument, Colorado, Sandy Dieken and Shirley (Bill) Weiss of Peoria, Illinois; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her three brothers.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and First English Lutheran Church in Peoria, Illinois.

Services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 11:00am at First English Lutheran Church in Peoria. Dr. James Lillie will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services starting at 10:00am at First English Lutheran Church. A private burial will be at Streitmatter Cemetery in Princeville, Illinois.
