Anna Cundiff

Anna, “Ann” Cundiff, 91, of Peoria, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Manor Court in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Jeff Leeman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Historic Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
Ann was born in Peoria on June 14, 1923, a daughter of John and Anna (Boles) Patterson. She married Robert Isaac Cundiff in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula (the late James) Green of Peoria; son, Joe-J (Janice) Cundiff of Dallas, TX; sisters, Vi Arnette of Newport Richey, FL and Barbara (Jack) Schlicksup of Peoria; granddaughters, Jennifer Cundiff, Joyce Balda and Jessica (Josh) Kendle-Cundiff; and 2 great grandsons.
Ann worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation as a supply clerk for 35 years. She also worked part-time at Bergner’s in Peoria for over 35 years. She volunteered at Proctor Hospital and was a very active member of the Peoria Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association-Central Illinois Chapter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
