Adell Gordon

Adell Gordon, 88, of Peoria passed away on Friday April 1, 2022 at her residence. She was born on June 25, 1933 in Robinsonville, Mississippi. The daughter of Robert and Lillie (McNeese) Williams. She married Eddie Gordon on July 4, 1959 in Greenville, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2008.

She was a member of Saint Luke Baptist Church of Peoria. Adell enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to talk on the phone.

Adell is survived by two daughters Lillian Moore of Peoria; LaAngelia Moore of Peoria; two sons William Moore of Peoria, Jimol Gordon of Peoria; 56 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law Charlene Williams of Peoria, Estella Jackson of Peoria, Mattie Smith of Leland, MS; two special long-time friends Lovie Carr Baker, Lucille Woods and a host of other relatives.

A visitation will be held on April 08, 2022 from 11am to 12pm at Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 12pm. Pastor Estella Davis-Flowers will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
