Robert Snider

Robert Anthony Snider, 48 of Wyoming, Illinois passed away at 10:10pm on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Speer, Illinois.

Born May 11, 1963 in Peoria, Illinois to Robert C. and Cheryl D.(Daxenbichler) Snider. He married Kathy "Kate" N. Endress on November 18, 1995 at the LaPrairie United Presbyterian Church in Sparland, Illinois.

Robert is survived by his parents, wife and two young children; Kirstin "Hollee" Snider and Lily Diane Snider. Also surviving are two brothers; Terry Michael Snider of Chillicothe and Ricky Allen Snider of NorthPort, Florida, paternal grandmother; Catherine E. Snider of Peoria and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.


Robert was a 5th year electrical apprentice for the IBEW Local #34 of Peoria, Illinois.

Robert loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and riding his motorcycle. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral service for Robert will be at 10:30am, Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the LaPrairie United Presbyterian Church 701 County Road 400 E Sparland. The Rev. Brian Gross will officiate. Cremation rites will be done following the service. Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm onWednesday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
