Hilda Mae Ford, 62, of Peoria, passed away at 5:48 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m.on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria with Jeff Leeman officiating. There will no visitation.
Hilda was born on January 11, 1955 in Mayfield, KY, a daughter of Edgar and Mamie (Riggs) Goins. They preceded her in death along with a grandson, Alex Goins-Ford and sisters, Dixie Glover and Carolyn Goins. She married John Ford on June 3, 1971 in Peoria. He survives.
She is also survived by her children, Loretta Goins-Ford and John “Tank” Ford, Jr., both of Peoria; brother, Kenneth (Kim) Goins of Norwood; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
