Harold Ennis, Jr.

Harold “Junior” Ennis, 78, of Brimfield, passed away at 4:16 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Sister Jacque Schroeder officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, prior to services at the funeral home.
Junior was born on December 5, 1934 in Jefferson City, MO, a son of Harold D. and Lillian (Miller) Ennis. They preceded him in death, along with a son, Thomas Ennis. He married Louise M. Vaughn in Knoxville on April 19, 1963. She survives.
He is also survived by his sons, James Ennis of Brimfield and Michael (Melissa) Ennis of Peoria; granddaughters, Jessica and Briana; sisters, Josephine (Kenny) Lester of Avon and Vada (Tom) Ireton of Bartonville; and brothers, Laverne (Becky) Ennis of Florida and Fred (Carol) Ennis of Tennessee.
Junior retired in February of 2000, after thirty-seven years of service, as a material handler for Komatsu America in Peoria.
He enjoyed farming with his father, in the Brimfield area, tending to his vegetable garden, listening to Country & Western music and watching old Western movies and television shows.
